How did you get started in bodybuilding/fitness?

I have always loved muscle and training, but I didn’t really get addicted till I was 18 and I started taking lessons my freshman year of college. I’ll never forget, it was love at first burn, haha.

Was there a defining moment that got you to start training at a whole different level?

The moment was my first show, after I got off the stage I was hooked. I love to share my hard work with the world. I always want to come in with something better and stronger.

What are the top 2 ways you keep motivated?

I find that surrounding yourself with family, friends, and positive people keep me very motivated. I also love working with people to meet their goals. At the same time, without them knowing it, they really help me as well, I want to always be a good example and positive influence.

"I always want to come in with something better and stronger."

What was the biggest hurdle you had to overcome in your bodybuilding/fitness career/goal thus far?

This last year was the biggest hurdle for me. My last show I was 2 months pregnant and didn’t know it until it was too late and I was really sick. I was very depressed and had to find a way to deal emotionally and physically. It took a hard toll on my body. But God was there for me and now I’m healthy and back to my old self.

In your opinion what is the hardest part about being a bodybuilder/fitness model/competitor?

I love everything about it, all of it except the water gain after a show, haha its like 4 periods at once. I know that’s gross but it is very uncomfortable.

If you had to ratio the importance of training, diet and rest, what would the percentages look like? (e.g. 20% training, 30% diet, 30% rest)

This is a very good question because all of these are important. I would say 60% is diet and 20% is rest, and 20% is training.

How useful do you think supplements are? Do you use supplements? What is your current top supplement?

Supplements are huge, you have to replenish your body. I’m really big on 1st Phorm products, they are the best. They have products for pre and post workout, as well as stuff just for women, which I really love! Check them out!

What is your current training routine?

I really switch it up every week, but lately I do shoulders twice a week, legs twice, and I have one day for arms, and one day for back and chest. Sundays I usually just do cardio all day long, but if I’m feeling a lil crazy Ill do extra legs….

What is your current diet routine?

All liquid… Haha I’m kidding I eat like crazy. I do a blood type diet. My blood is A positive so I do a lot of fish and oatmeal, not mixed together don’t worry. This is a really great diet that works with your body specifically so check it out too.
